BRIEF

This landscape design for an international hotel in Deyang aims to revitalise the surrounding area, stimulate economic investment, and celebrate the city’s rich cultural vitality. The site is envisioned as a dynamic microcosm of Deyang, blending leisure, sustainability, and local character. 

The design integrates lush green spaces to foster a sense of calm and connection to nature, while discreetly incorporating small utility structures to provide essential services without disrupting visual harmony. Water features enhance both aesthetic appeal and ambient tranquillity, complementing the landscape’s natural rhythm and flow. 

Intimate entertainment pockets and shaded lounging areas encourage social interaction, relaxation, and engagement with the environment. The layout balances private and communal experiences, ensuring versatility for both hotel guests and local visitors. 

As of summer 2019, the project remains under consideration, poised to transform the site into a vibrant hub that reflects Deyang’s energy while setting a benchmark for sustainable, culturally sensitive landscape design.
